CommentBSL2. Currently not ready. We don't know whether virus particles are produced or not. Therefore, the cells must be handled under BSL2.
Comment from the depositor8C/HTLV-1_2M cells were HTLV-1 producing cells after cocultivation of 8C cells with lethally irradiated HTLV-1-positive human T-cell line (ATL-2M). Cell-free HTLV-1 prepared from 8C/HTLV-1_2M cells is highly transmissible.
