Comment from the depositorATL-1K is a cell line established from peripheral blood of a patient with adult T-cell leukemia (ATL) and can grow without IL-2. ATL-1K cells contain one copy of HTLV-1 proviral DNA per cell. The expression of HTLV-1 antigen is not detected.
