CommentApplication consideration
Comment from the depositorNovel cells derived from female Chinese hamster lung. Cells were immortalized by spontaneous transformation. Cells were adapted in animal component-free chemically defined media and subjected to biosafety testing (BioReliance), in which safety was confirmed by an in vitro assay to detect viral contaminants using 3 detector cell lines, a mycoplasma detection test by real-time PCR, and sterility testing by direct inoculation.
Terms and conditionsApplies only for research purpose. If the purpose of these cells and any transformations involving these cells are for business, approval from Manufacturing Technology Association of Biologics, the providers of these cells, must be gotten beforehand.
